This AAPI Heritage Month, we at Read 4 Unity honor the richness, resilience, and diversity of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities—and we reaffirm our commitment to justice for all marginalized people.

Solidarity means standing with those who are oppressed, even when it’s uncomfortable. As we uplift AAPI voices, we also grieve the suffering in Palestine (and other oppressed communities) and echo the call for peace, dignity, and liberation for all.

Our work in literacy equity is not just about books—it’s about whose stories get told, whose voices are heard, and whose humanity is acknowledged.

Through every book we share, we hope to build bridges of understanding and plant seeds of empathy. Because unity begins with listening—and justice begins with learning.
