She is a wife, a mom, and a world changer. She has a dream and vision to create a better tomorrow for our children and the next generations to come. She loves Atlanta and truly believe in the power of literacy, diversity, creativity, and unity.
Meet Chanda —
Chanda Austin is a native of Tuscaloosa, AL and currently resides in Atlanta, GA. She holds a B.S. and a M.Ed. from Alabama A&M University, Normal, AL and an Ed. S in School Leadership from Cambridge College, Cambridge, MA. She has been an educator for over twenty years serving in several different capacities and is passionate about people and learning. She is a proud mother of an amazing, talented teenage girl.
Meet Riya —
Riya is a senior at a Chicago High School. From solving crossword puzzles to participating in spelling bees at an early age, words and language have captivated her curiosity. Even now, in the digital age, she finds joy and thrill in deciphering the mystery of a good crossword puzzle.
