Q: What kind of books are included in the champion toolkit/book bundle?
A: You will receive a mix of diverse books that we have carefully selected - from early readers to young adults, and some adult books. We cannot guarantee specific age groups. If you have specific requests, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate!
Q: Will I receive paperback, hardcover, or a mix of books?
A: For champion book bundles, you will receive mostly (if not all) paperback, brand new books. We purchased these books at a discount, provided free shipping and passed all the savings to you. We will do our best to include hardcover whenever possible.
Q: Can we request a refund/exchange if we don’t like the bundles we receive?
A: We are a grassroots non-profit and our purpose of providing the bundles is not for revenue/profit, therefore, all the book bundle purchases are FINALS, and we do not issue refunds/exchanges. We spend a ton of time researching our books to ensure they are aligned with our mission/vision. If you have any concerns, please contact us!
Q: When I purchase the bundles, can I decide where to distribute them to? Is there guidance/suggestion?
A: Absolutely! In reality, diverse books are needed by EVERYONE. The most popular places to drop them off would be at existing Little Free Libraries that you might see in your neighborhood! Otherwise, you can donate the books to your kid’s teacher, a youth community center, daycare, and other places. Please use the contact us form if you need further guidance!
Q: Can I purchase a book bundle for myself or as a gift to family/friends?
A: Absolutely! It is a great way to access awesome diverse books to diversify your home library, and these bundles make such awesome and meaningful gifts for family and friends! *All book bundles ship free to any addresses in the 48 US states.
Q: Will you have a book “subscription” for higher end/hardcover diverse books?
A: Funny you should ask! In a few weeks, we will introduce our first “GOGO (Get One Give One) Book Bundles”! In a nutshell, we will come up with age appropriate hardcover and/or board diverse books in several tiers, and you will have options to subscribe monthly or get it as a one time purchase, and for each tier you GET, Read 4 Unity will GIVE the same numbers of awesome diverse books to our partner organizations!
