We were at @cityofclarkstonga Juneteenth celebration this Saturday w/FREE k-12 books! Event was hosted by the City of Clarkston!
The event was from 10-3pm, and Read4Unity was there from 11-12pm to give away books by black authors while supplies lasted πππ£

We are amazed by Twende Poriniβs unique mission to help refugee and immigrant children build relationships with Mother Earth and start a journey of environmental stewardship in their lives.
The 2 Read4Unity libraries (courtesy of @littlefreelibrary β€οΈ) are filled with diverse books π with focus on both cultural diversity & those that teach readers to care for our earth in their own ways.

Another opportunity to grab awesome π ππ this Saturday @alif_institute holiday celebration! We were so excited to be a part of ALIF Instituteβs βA Taste of Christmas in the Arab World!β We had awesome πππ by MENA authors for anyone on their last minute gift list! Thank you for coming through and supporting our mission to share diverse stories with our young readers! ALL proceeds were used to send brand new books to our partners: @thelifeschoolatl @mvkatl @jollyavegarden in January!

We gave away awesome books, refueled our Read4Unity library, and had a chance to see Kitti, Stephanie & other Refuge team, and meet new people!
We are so grateful to @kitti_murray and everyone at Refuge Coffee for allowing us to be a part of their mission of welcome by having our library onsite & participating in holiday markets & events.
Since our partnership started in 2020, we have been able to distribute over 2000 #diversebooks in Clarkston community!

February 2021 Collaboration To Benefit Our #BOOKS4HEROES Campaign!
We are so honored that KindCotton and The Happy Headband Co partnered with us in the month of February by donating proceeds from their sales to our #Books4Heroes campaign!
Kind Cotton is two women-owned businesses with a common goal of putting books in the hands of kids, so when they made their "spread love" tees, they thought how fun it would be to spread a little GALentineβs Day cheer with a friend! They are both donating a portion of proceeds to @read4unity
The Happy Headband Co was founded on a love for reading. Each and every single purchase you make goes directly toward buying books for classroom libraries across the country. This month, they generously chose Read 4 Unity as their partner and will be donating portions of sales to our #Books4Heroes campaign!
